Ferryspeed Invests in Five Electric Vehicles Following Successful Portsmouth Trial

We recently completed our programme of electric vehicle trials with a two-week trial of an electric tug in Portsmouth, exploring whether it could meet our operational needs. The tugs move and position our trailers within our compounds.

As a result, we’re thrilled to have now ordered five units, four for Portsmouth and one for Jersey, with delivery expected early next year.

This further demonstrates our commitment to greater sustainability and greener working practices.
