From Guernsey With Love – Newborn Baby Hats Appeal Relaunches for Ukraine

We’re thrilled to be helping a newborn baby hat appeal in Guernsey get back up and running, three weeks after being suspended.

Last month, Stand With Ukraine – Newborn Baby Hats Appeal shared that its logistics partners could no longer support shipments to Ukraine and Latvia and so paused services.

Now, we have stepped in to deliver humanitarian aid from Guernsey to Ukraine Relief, based in Bournemouth, where it will then travel to Ukraine.

Founder Lilita Krūze, thanking Ferryspeed, said “it’s clear as a day that you have made enormous positive change in lives of all who are involved in Newborn Baby Hats Appeal, from the knitting groups and hundreds of individuals across Bailiwick of Guernsey and beyond. There are not enough words to THANK YOU.”

If you’re in the Bailiwick, green collection boxes are back in both Waitrose stores or donations can be dropped off at churches, including Castel, St Matthew’s, St Saviour’s, Torteval and Vale.
